Cost-Benefit-Happiness Analysis

If you added up all of the money I've made from fantasy football, survivor leagues, and weekly pick 'ems, and divided that amount by the number of hours I've spent on these football games, you'd end up with a number that's close to a fraction so tiny that it approaches infinity. While I'm not the most savvy money-wise, I am capable of a rudimentary cost-benefit analysis. I find the results of just such an analysis rather bleak. So, I rationalize, I must derive some other joy from these games. And I've decided that my favorite aspect of playing them is that they make me interested in watching all the football games. But, one could also make an intelligent argument that if you have to rely on a money-losing venture to enjoy watching a sport, perhaps you should look for enjoyment in watching another sport instead.
