This Blog Post Is Not By Dave

A few years back my friend Dave S (real name) texted me in the evening, "What's tomorrow's liquidastronaut post about?" I read his text while sitting on the couch about 10 minutes after I'd finished writing the next day's post, and though mere minutes had elapsed I could not recall what the email was about. Then I spent a few minutes pondering what that lack of memory meant in the broader scheme of my life. Then I got up and looked at the post, and I texted him back. The next day he told me over Gchat that he'd told a young lady who was a fan of the blog that he was the writer, and telling her what was coming in the yet-to-be-sent email was his way of proving his authorship. I don't know what happened to those two, but in the event that that lady married married my old friend Dave, he did not write those posts.
