Strange Days
My phone has a feature where it uploads and saves all of my photos whenever I get on a wifi network. It's a handy way to ensure that I don't lose all my photos the next time I leave my phone at the bottom of a swimming pool. Of course, like everyone else not living in a cave, I've read about the NSA vacuuming up huge amounts of data from our online lives and phones, and I wonder if on some remote government server there are copies of photos from my trip to New Orleans. And if so, I have to wonder if some low-level government employee is forced to flip through these things. If that's the case, I have to apologize for taking so many photos of that one bathroom. It was so disgusting in person that I couldn't believe it and thought it demanded documentation. It seemed like a good idea at the time.
