The Belts

My old neighbor Marcus stopped over and told me about his recent shopping trip that had taken him to the department store two days in a row. He'd gone the first day looking for a belt, but held off on his purchase until he'd bought some shoes the next day, and then he took those shoes to the store to help him pick his belt. This conversation goes onto my infinite list of things that I didn't know that I don't know. Shoes and belts are supposed to match? I have one belt that stays in my jeans and in the morning I put them both on at the same time. Since I also only have a couple pairs of shoes, I might not be doing anything wrong, but I'm still considering asking Marcus if I can hire him as a style consultant. I'm just not sure if he works pro-bono.
