I don't play the lottery more than once or twice a year. It's more of a time-saving measure than anything, because whenever I buy a ticket I have to spend the next few hours day dreaming about what I'd do if I won. Also, if I did win, I wouldn't want to stand there holding the over-sized check and tell everyone that I played every day my entire life. I'd prefer to be one of those people who say, "No, I never buy tickets...was just feeling lucky one day," and then every single person who does play every day would hate me even more for winning, which you have to admit would be part of the joy.
