The heater under my desk produces massive amounts of heat, though it's one of the only heaters in my rather large section at work. So when it's cold and we turn the heat up, the only thing that gets warm are my legs and feet while people on the other side of the office walk around in jackets. And if we turn it down at all everyone but me suffers, so the heat stays on. It feels like I'm sitting in a hot tub when I'm at my desk. Time to start bringing flip-flops (and boat drinks) to work.
