The UFO Sighting

I saw UFOs once. It was a long time ago when I was in high school. A series of three lights with no ground source circled above our neighborhood for several hours. They stayed over my dad while he took our dog for a walk. I'm sad to say the UFOs did not abduct anyone or send us any recognizable image. They just circled in a consistent pattern as if conducting some kind of interstellar line dance and then they were gone. At the time I was really into the notion of UFOs and intelligent life on other planets, but I have to say my only encounter with them was exceedingly boring. If they ever do land and talk to us, or if they were trying to communicate with us then, we should all begin managing our expectations for what one of those encounters would actually be like.
