Text Detective

I've lost all my contacts in my phone, which has been an interesting exercise in discovering just how rarely I actually talk on the phone. In fact, I almost never use my phone for conventional phone uses. Mostly it's used looking things up on the web to settle bar bets and texting, but since I've lost all my contacts, I'm not sure who these texts are coming from. Not that they're flooding in or anything. Instead of asking people who they are when they text me, I play detective. I look for clues in their style and questions, then write back with a 'feeler' question to figure out if it's who I think it is. So far only one person has written back to that feeler question, so it would seem my career as a detective is rather hopeless. At least I'm not botching real investigations.
