Robbery Suspect

I caught a ride with my friend Julius for an afternoon outing and he had to stop at the local convenience store. I sat parked out front in his car. He was gone only a few moments when he came running back to his car and said, "I think this place just got robbed!" It looked like the glass front door was cracked, and through that broken glass it looked like there was a bunch of merchandise laying on the ground. Though you can never tell with these local operations, they may just run an untidy shop. So Julius climbed back into the car but wanted to investigate a bit further, so he crept past the entrance really slowly in his car, but it was my side that was closest to the door. I was hoping gunfire wouldn't erupt anytime soon. We waved down a cop riding by who confirmed our robbery theory and asked if we'd seen two suspicious looking guys. I'm not sure why he didn't just arrest us.
