Whenever I go to a wedding it occurs to me that 'wedding photographer' has to be one of the most punishing jobs in the world. Your work demands that you never have an off day. And the circumstances you're forced to work under are extremely taxing. I'll never forget when I was standing on a wedding dance floor packed with people jumping in unison and singing Bon Jovi's 'Living on a Prayer' at the tops of their lungs. I looked over and saw the wedding photographer holding his camera over the crowd, getting shots of the bride paparazzi-style. It was amazing -- not that he could get the shots of her, but that he would stay and take photos instead of storming out in disgust.
