So there's this rumor that the world is going to end soon. This is nothing new. People have been predicting the end of the world since they could get other people to listen. The latest is this guy who's achieved something of a following, and he's managed to insert the idea into the semi-mainstream. I'm sorry if this is the first you've heard of it. So common sense says that if the world doesn't end this weekend, the guy who's predicted the latest rapture should lose all his credibility, right? Well, he made the same end-of-world prediction in 1994 and here we all are again. It is going to be so much more awkward between him and his followers this time around when the world doesn't end, especially the ones who stuck around since '94.
