Random Cities

It's been raining a lot lately. Whenever it rains for three days in a row, I almost always mention something offhand about how I feel like I live in Seattle. Then today I mentioned it to a guy from Seattle, and I found myself wondering what people who actually live there say when it rains a lot. It was already awkward enough with me complaining about his hometown, so I didn't have the chance to ask him. The same thing happened in a meeting once. I was trying to name a city in an example I was giving, someplace in the middle of nowhere, and in my example it represented a landlocked place where absolutely nothing was going on. I should have asked if anyone in the room was from Kansas City before I pulled that one out.
