Full Moons
The moon has been really big lately. Or rather, it's always the same size, it's just a bit closer to Earth so it looks bigger to us. On the news they said this is the closest the moon's been to Earth in 18 years. I did a quick internet search to see what happened on March 19th eighteen years ago. My plan was to draw a correlation between something crazy that happened the last time the moon was this close to Earth, and then share my erroneous 8th grade theory that full moons make people crazy since the gravity pulls their brains closer to their skulls. (It's kind of like the effect the moon has on tides, but on a micro scale in your head.) My quick internet search of what happened in the world 18 years ago yesterday turned out to bust. It seems that historically March 19th is kind of slow.
