My Favorite Email
There's an email I like to receive more than any other. It carries a sense of excitement unusual for an email, and it lands in my inbox a few times per year. When people use Microsoft Outlook and accidentally send an email or something they wish they hadn't, they have the option to 'recall' their last email. It sounds like it would pull the email they'd accidentally sent out of everyone's inbox, but instead it leaves the email accidentally sent in the inbox, and it sends a follow-up email asking people to delete the prior email without reading it. Oh man...if you ever want a guarantee that I will read an email, just ask me to delete it without opening it. If anyone has a moral imperative that inspires them to delete these emails without opening them, I have yet to meet them.
